Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (DSIA) affiliates companies involved in research, development, manufacture, trade and marketing of defence and security equipment, materials and services. For more than 20 years of its existence gained DSIA reputation of acknowledged representative of the Czech defence and security industry, important partner of Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Industry and Trade. DSIA also cooperates with the Parliament of the Czech Republic, in particular with the Foreign, Defence and Security Committees of the Senate and the Defence and Security Committees of the House of Deputies. DSIA represents the Czech Republic in NATO Industry Advisory Group (NIAG) and is present in structures of the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD). These relations are stepping stones for efforts of the Czech defence and security industry to be involved in specific European, transatlantic and international projects.
